About Homade

A shared home built to host artivistic* experimental learning activities.

*Artivism: a portmanteau word combining art and activism. The artivist (artist + activist) uses their artistic talents to fight and struggle against injustice and oppression—by any medium necessary. The artivist merges commitment to freedom and justice with the pen, the lens, the brush, the voice, the body, and the imagination. The artivist knows that to make an observation is to have an obligation.

We are creative nomads! We meet a lot of different people who have many many different ways to do things. And we believe that dialogue and creativity are the best tools for us, humans, to live our lives in a fulfilling way. That is why we are building a space where everyone is welcome to share and practice creativity. A place for nomads, artists, educators and social actors to come and play, learn, create and share. A place for you, for us to shape our world together!
